The Greenbelt Farmers Market is OPEN on Sunday, May 12!

The Greenbelt Farmers Market board, staff, and volunteers are eagerly looking forward to kicking off our sixth season THIS SUNDAY, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come celebrate Mothers Day with fresh foods, personal care products, and live music! We'll have your favorite local food vendors, FREE balloons for the kids, and special guests the Wild Anacostias who will be playing Zydeco and Cajun music from 10:30 a.m until noon. Bring your dancing shoes!

In addition to our many regular market vendors you've come to love over the years, we'll have a few new faces joining us this season. Come meet our newest vendors and check out what they have to offer:

• Batty Batches, innovative jams and jellies
• DC Puddin, southern comfort food
• Sweet Earth Essentials, a variety of aromatherapy products (the first and third Sundays of the month, beginning May 18)
• Tasha's Cookies, delicious cookies and brownies
• Tiffany's Oven, vegan prepared food
